Denver-based Smart Cookie is back
Smart Cookie Barkery dog treats have returned to Poudre Pet & Feed Supply with eight varieties to choose from. Handcrafted from scratch in a Colorado kitchen, they’re made with human-grade ingredients and are free of wheat, corn, and soy.
The Smart Cookie Barkery, based in Golden, Colo., was born in 2012 when Bri Bradley and her Aussie dog were both diagnosed with cancer. Fueled by a newfound obsession for nutrition and functional ingredients, Bri and her husband Scott took their dog treats, hit the streets, and sold them out of a wooden tricycle, fondly known as the Smart Cookie Cart.
Since then, Smart Cookie's treat line has grown and includes various textures, proteins, and functions. The Regional Bites soft treats contain novel proteins like wild boar, trout, or rabbit paired with sweet potato, apple, or pumpkin, respectively. And like all of their natural treats, they're made from scratch in small batches, using real meats ground in-house to ensure exceptional quality.
The Functional Dog Treats are formulated for Hip+Joint, Skin+Coat, or Endurance. And the single-ingredient 100% USA Rabbit Jerky is available in strips or bite-size training treats.
