Feeding Guidelines
To assure that your kitten or Adult cat is receiving the maximum nutrition, feed AvoDerm dry formulas with any of our can formulas.
Kittens: Allow 2 - 3 meals per day and to eat as much as they like.
Adults: Feed 1 can per 3 lbs of bodyweight. When you feed both dry and can, allow 25% of your cat's daily allowance to come from our can food and 75% to our dry formula. Our dry formula should be available at all times.
Day 1 & 2: Feed 20% new food and 80% of the old brand.
Day 3 & 4: Feed 50% new food and 50% of your pet’s old brand.
Day 5: Feed 80% new food and 20% of the old brand.
Day 6: Feed 100% new food from now on.
