FirstMate's Australian Lamb uses grass fed, free range lamb without added hormones or antibiotics. This limited ingredient diet is great for dogs with allergies and diet restrictions. Fewer ingredients makes this formula easy on digestion. The small bite kibble is perfect for smaller mouths. The chicken fat used in FirstMate Pet Foods is processed free of protein, eliminating the risk of allergies derived from chicken.

Pregnant females increase feed intake beginning week 7 of gestation up to 25%.
Lactating females increase feeding up to 50%, feeding a minimum of 3 times per day. Feeding requirements vary according to breed and litter size. Monitor body condition of pregnant and lactating females and adjust feed accordingly.
When transitioning to our dry food from another brand, we typically recommend a 7-day transition period. Begin by introducing a small amount of FirstMate with the old food on the first day. Gradually increase the amount of the new food, decreasing the amount of the old food over the course of a week until they are eating exclusively FirstMate.
